Your Next Step

You don’t know what it is. You do know what it is. Either way, you feel immobilized.

Questions you might ponder:

What’s holding you back? Is it perfectionism? Is it fear, grief, sadness, or self judgement?

What would you do if you could put your concerns aside? When would you prefer to take action? How would you go about this?

What support do you need in order to take this next step?

It is a practice, this step taking.

A few months ago, I became a grandmother for the 1st time. Watching this wonderful newborn develop has reminded me of the importance of practice.

We’ve known all about the necessity of practice since our birth. Our brains are hardwired for practice. We’re programmed to practice until we achieve success.

Have you ever watched newborns practice gaining head control? Over and over again their little heads wobble on the new musculature of their neck and upper back until head control is attained.

Having integrated one milestone, they move onto other goals, often with rest periods in between.

As we grow and develop, consciousness enters into our lives. Our thoughts and self talk may get in the way of our practicing. We tell ourselves stories to keep ourselves from practicing.

This is one of the reasons clients seek out coaches. We work together so that you can figure out what’s getting in the way.

We strategize how to move forward.

Your next step is possible anytime you choose to take it.

Inner Progress!
